INVESTMENTS IN CHILDREN AND FAMILIES
• No cuts to early learning and child care programs
• Investments in after school programs for children from 6 to 12 years

INVESTMENTS IN POVERTY REDUCTION
• Increase the Ontario Child Benefit to $125 a month
• $100 monthly Healthy Food Supplement to help all adults on social assistance access
healthier food and investments to make progress on poverty reduction plans

INVESTMENTS IN HOUSING
• A long-term affordable housing strategy including immediate Investments to build
affordable housing, provide shelter subsidies/benefits and upgrade existing social housing

RECESSION RELIEF & COMMUNITY SUPPORTS
• Investments in the non-profit sector and to recession relief (employment and training
programs) and protections to support Ontarians during the economic downturn”
